CE Class Policy & Rules

  • Attendance is monitored at the beginning and end of the course by sign in/out sheet which identifies the CE provider.

  • Students MUST sign in/out to receive a certificate at end of class.

  • Students MUST show a photo ID to Instructor prior to class, per the MD Real Estate Commission.

  • Turn off ALL electronic devices; also, no unrelated reading material during the course.

  • Students must be physically present during ALL of the offering time – no certificate will be given when a student arrives late, leaves early or steps out to answer beepers/phones.

  • There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. No partial credits allowed (must be present and accept the full course credit that is offered).

  • Disputes regarding registration fees, cancellation or refund policies are resolved by the class provider,not the MD RE Commission.

  • Certificates are handed out only at the end of class or mailed at a later date.

  • PROVIDERS MAY NOT ISSUE BLANK CERTIFICATES. No duplicates of the same course number are accepted toward your license renewal.

  • MD RE Commission suggests that you KEEP ALL CE CERTIFICATES FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS.

  • Cancellation and refund requests MUST be received at least 3 business days prior to class.

  • “Walk-In” registrations are accepted if seating is available at the cost of $40.00 each CE Class.

  • Payment is required prior to start of class.

  • Request for duplicate original certificates MUST be requested prior to class day. A $5.00 fee will be charged for “replacement” certificates due to loss or damage.

  • Students may change class selection at no charge if notification is given at least 3 days prior to registered class date.

  • NAPD reserves the right to cancel class with a full refund to Student.

  • NAPD Inclement Weather Policy – All CE Classes will be canceled when Frederick Community College is closed.  However, if FCC has a “delayed” opening, NAPD CE Classes WILL BE HELD ON TIME. An announcement will also be placed on the main NAPD phone greeting before 5:00pm for classes held that evening or the next day.
